Thank you for sharing this. You are absolutely not insane for crying after your first placement. I'd be more worried if you didn't feel something. It's a huge adjustment and nobody talks about that enough. So glad the email templates have taken some of the stress off your plate. That's exactly why I included them; sometimes just knowing what to say (and how to say it) makes everything feel a bit more manageable. And your last point is a big part of why I wrote this. Not everyone has people around them who've been through it before, so if the book can fill even a little bit of that gap, then it's done its job. Thanks again for the kind words.

This is such a lovely review, thank you! So glad Part 4 worked well for your grad applications. The hospital hunter strategic plan is one of those tips that sounds too easy to be true, but it genuinely makes such a difference. And yeah, fair enough on wishing you'd found it earlier; I reckon that's the story for a lot of us. Half the reason I wrote it was because I wished someone had handed me something like this in first year instead of letting me figure it all out the hard way. Really happy you noticed the print quality too. I was pretty fussy about how it felt in your hands, so that means a lot. And if another book happens, you'll be the first to know!
